Feeding Advisory/Disclaimer
When introducing new treats - start with one protein at a time. Introduce new treats slowly. Wild Bites USA is not responsible for proper portion control according to your dog's size and weight. I do recommend if you have a small dog to feed them a piece of treat appropriate for their size.
Always feed treats under supervision and have water available. If your dog is a fast, determined eater, supervise your dog for swallowing or gulping. This can be prevented by using a chew holder or just holding it with your hands.
These are treats, meant to be fed intermittently, and not meant to replace full, balanced meals. Please consult with your veterinarian for any questions about any ingredients.
Feeding Guidelines
Suggested daily serving amount:
There is really no upper limit on the amount that can be fed daily. It should not replace a fully balanced meal. Feed the amount of treats appropriate to your dog's size. Treats should be 10% of your dog's daily diet.

Benefits
Coconut flour:
High in Protein
Coconut flour is an increasingly popular choice when it comes to providing protein for dogs. Unlike regular whole wheat, grain, and all-purpose flours, coconut flour is a gluten-free source of high-quality protein that can provide essential nutrients and fatty acids to support the physical health of your pooch. Unlike other grains, it also contains lauric acid, which helps boost the immune system and strengthens the large intestine. For pet owners looking for a healthy way to treat their furry friends, coconut flour may be the perfect choice. Not only does it offer a rich source of high-quality protein, but its high levels of medium chain triglycerides are also beneficial in supporting fatty acid balance in the body.
Fiber
Coconut flour provides many health benefits, including fiber, for dogs. The high fiber content found in coconut flour helps regulate digestion and promote nutrient absorption. It not only helps to keep their coat looking healthy, but it can also reduce constipation and other gastrointestinal issues. In addition, the fiber content helps reduce cholesterol levels, aids in weight loss, and supports overall heart health as well.
Coconut Oil:
Medium-Chain Triglycerides (MCTs)
Their rapid digestion and conversion into energy, along with their potential cognitive and antimicrobial benefits, are what make coconut oil such a valuable addition to your dog's diet.
Lauric Acid
It’s a type of MCT, which is particularly rich in organic coconut oil. Its antimicrobial properties help to combat harmful viruses, bacteria, and fungi.
Vitamins and Antioxidants
Coconut oil contains small amounts of vitamins E and K, as well as antioxidants which play a crucial role in protecting cells and tissues and maintaining healthy skin and bone.
